My boy "BJ" Brandon Jennings had an historic night tonight scoring 55pts vs the Golden State Warriors 29 of which came in the 3rd qt and that is after not having any in the 1st qt. He played 40:43 of the 48min going 21-34 from the field and 7-8 from the 3 with 6-8 from the free throw line. He also had 5 ast and 5 reb in his teams 129-125 win improving them to a 5-2 record. His performance outdid that of all time great Lou Alcindors rookie record with the Bucks of 51 pts. It also tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbars (formly Lou Alcindor for the bball dummies but TRILL TALK if you aint know they was the same person then please get off my shit now and dont come back... Thank You :-)) high with the team before he left for the Lakers. It was two points from Michael Redds team record. Watch out East Milwaukee might be making a playoff run this year behind their soon to be Rookie of the Year!!!

I will try to get a better more in depth highlight video but his is the best out right now on such short notice!

D-WADE!!! IM TELLING YOU SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT DIS BOY HAS ALWAYZ REMINDED ME OF KOBE 5 YRS AGO!!! THIS IS JUST NAAAASTY!!!! :-)

NEW CHRIS BROWN- CRAWL!!! ONCE AGAIN THE PRINCE IS BACK!!! DO YA THANG C.BEEZY!!!

It was no suprise that Carmelo Anthony was named the Player of the Week for the West. Dwight Howard got the honor for the East. Both teams are undefeated at 3-0. Melos numbers where 37.7pts 7reb 4.3ast he shot 53.6% from the field and 42.9% from 3pt range. Supermans numbers where 21.7pts 16reb 2.3blk he has led them to their first 3-0 start since 94 16yrs.

FRIDAY NIGHT- The Knicks visted the Bobcats and Charlotte picked up their first win 102-100 in double overtime. Led by Raymond Feltons 22pts 9ast and 8reb and Gerald Wallaces 18pts and 15reb and Boris Diaw also chipped in with 17pts 11reb and 6ast. Th Knicks had a balanced scoring attack with David Lee, Al Harrington and Nate Robinson all with 17pts and 16pts for Gallinari. Lee also added 18reb.
The Thunder beat the Pistons in Detriot 91-83 to improve to 2-0. Kevin Durant had 25pts and 12reb Jeff Green added 16pts and Westbrook had a double-double with 10pts and 10ast. Ben Gordon led the Pistons with 25pts and he had 7reb. 21pts for Stucky and Ben Wallace who is back in the Motor City to end his career had 12reb.
My Lakers where messed over by the refs and their horrible calls. We didnt help ourselves with bad shooting but how could we get into a rhythem with a foul called everytime we breathed on a Mav. Dirk shot 11fts and the team as a total had 32. We only had 14, 9 of which by Kobe thats ridiculous. Dirk had 21pts and 10reb and Shawn Marion was huge for them with 18pts and 6reb and of course the Jet was big off the bench with 16pts. Kobe had 20pts and 6reb Bynum had 14pts and 10reb. LO had 10pts 7ast and 6reb and off the bench Sheldon Brown added 12pts and Josh Powell had 9pts in 13min.
SATURDAY NIGHT- The 76ers and the Knicks had a high scoring affair in New York. For the Knicks it was their second straight night going into overtime and they lost both this one 141-127. Philly got great all around play. 32pts 11reb and 8ast for Andre Iguodala, 27pts 10reb and 7ast for Lou Williams, 25pts for Thaddeus Young and 16pts 7reb for Elton Brand. Speights added 20pts and 10reb off the bench. Al Harrington led NY with 42pts off the bench before he fouled out after only 36min. Gallinari had 30pts and Larry Hughes also came off the bench for 18pts 6ast 5reb and 4stl.
Houston improved to 2-1 and dropped Portland to 1-2 after they won at home 111-107. Former Laker Trevor Ariza led the way with a career high 33pts and he hit a career high 5 3pters. Aaron Brooks helped out with 28pts and 8ast and Landry off the bench with 16pts. Brandon Roy scored 42pts and also had 6reb and LaMarcus Aldridge ahd 27pts.
SUNDAY NIGHT- The Magic stay unbdefeated as the win in Toronto 125-116. All starters scored in double-digits Jameer Nelson led the way with 30pts next was Duke BlueDevil J.J. Redick who started for the injured Vince Carter he had 27pts 6reb and 5ast they both hit 5 3pters. Howard had 24pts and 11reb Ryan Anderson had 20pts and Matt Barnes had 12pts 9reb and 6stl. For the Raptors it was Chris Bosh with 35pts and 16reb he was 13-19 from the ft line. Bargnani had 26pts and Turkoglu had 19pts.
The Thunder lost their first game 83-74 to the Trailblazers. They shot horrible esp KD who was only 3-21 but thats when the rest of the team has to step up and help him out overall the team was only 24-70 3-14 from 3 KD was 0-5. Portland was led by Steve Blakes 18pts Brandon Roy had 16pts and Greg Oden had a doub-doub 12pts and 10reb. Russell Westbrook led OKC with 23pts Jeff had 19pts and 11reb and KD 16pts.
Carmelo continues his drive to be the best and be this years MVP like I predict him to be as he scored 42pts to go along with 7reb and 5ast in Denvers win over Memphis 133-123. Chauncey added 22pts and 12ast and NeNe' with 18pts 9reb and 6ast and 16pts for K[Mart. OJ Mayo had a career high 40pts in defeat, 20pts 11reb for the younger Gasol and Gay had 18pts.
My Lakers beat the Atlanta Hawks 118-110 behind Kobes 41pts 8reb and 5stl. Drew had 21pts but only 3reb LO neared a triple-double with 11pts 14reb and 8ast and Ron had 12pts 7reb 4ast and 3blk. Joe Johnson led Atl with 27pts and 9reb Mike Bibby added 15pts. Jamal Crawford came off the bench and scored 17pts and rookie Jeff Teague put in 12pts in 17min.

New Jay-Z ft Alicia Keys- Empire State of Mind

MY NIGGA MELO!!!!! DAMN MILSAP LOL!!! My boy screaming "IM BACK, IM BACK" afterwards saying he just felt like he was back to his old self saying he hadnt done that in a while. What you think?

The Cavs dropped to 0-2 when they lost in Toronto 101-91 dispite LeBrons triple double of 23pts 12ast and 11reb. Chris Bosh had 21pts and 16reb and former 1st overall pick Bargnani had 28pts. The newest Raptor Hedu Turkoglu added 12pts 7reb 3ast and 3blk.
The Celtics imbarassed the Bobcats on their opening night 92-59. The T-Wolves had a comback win over the Nets. As Damein Wilkins former Oklahoma City Thunder hit a game winner at the buzzer 95-93 as Minnesota outscored New Jersey in the 4th 31-15. The Hornets looked bad in their lose to the Spurs 113-96 as CP3 had little help. He led of course with 26pts 9ast but had no stl and 5tos. Newcomer Emeka Okafor did hold his own with 18pts 10reb in less than 30min and David West added 18pts and 9reb. Denver beat Utah 114-105 led by Carmelos 30pts 8reb and 5ast. Billups had 25pts and the rookie PG from UNC Ty Lawson had 17pts 6ast in 26min off the bench. Deron Williams led the Jazz with 28pts 13ast and 5tos. Houston won at Golden St 108-107 to bounce back from their opening lose. Trevor Ariza led them with 25pts 5ast and 5reb Scola 21pts 11reb and Brooks 18pts and 12ast. They only played 9 players. Monta Ellis had 26pts to lead the Warriors also 5ast 1st round draft pick Steph Curry added 14pts 7ast and 4stl. The Suns beat the Clipps 109-107 as Steve Nash went past a much slimmer Baron Davis for the go ahead layup. Gordon took a ridiculous shot to try to win it at the buzzer and he missed. This was a game that the Clippers must win if they want to be taken serious about making a playoff push because I feel that the Suns who are also in their division, our (Lakers) division is a team they will be fighting with for that 8th seed. Nash finished with 24pts 8ast and 3tos. Grant Hill had 19pts and 13ast. Camby filled the stat sheet with 23pts 11reb 3blk 3stl and 3ast. BD had a double double after he sucked against us 12pts and 12ast and Rasul Butler was huge with 19pts off the bench.
My young boys the Oklahoma City Thunder won their season opener over the Sacramento Kings 102-89. Kevin "KD" Durant who once Kobe retires will be the best scorer in the league along with Melo and challenge Melo, Wade, James and CP3 as the best player led his team with 25pts 11reb and 4ast. His sidekick Jeff Green had 24pts 8reb and 3blk and Russell Westbrook added 14pts 13ast and 7reb. Sac rookie Tyreke Evans had 10pts 2ast and 3tos Kevin Martin led the way with 27pts and 3stl.
Lastnight the Spurs looked old and tired playing Chicago on their back-to-back. The Bulls won 92-85 Deng led the even scoring attack with 17pts and 9reb. Last years Rookie of the Year Derrick Rose had 13pts 7ast and 7reb with only 1to and Hinrich added 14pts 6reb off the bench. Timmy had no help as he put in 28pts 16reb and 3blk. In a battle with two of the top 10 players in the league Melo (top3) and B.Roy went at it in Portland with the Nuggets winning 97-94. Carmelo was amazing and unstoppable scoring 20 of his teams 42pts in the first half. After only 2pts in the 3rd he killed the 4th with 19pts giving him 41pts total also 6reb. Roy had 30pts 5reb 5ast.

My Lakers kicked off our title defense Tuesday Night on the opening night of the season. But before our game we recieved our championship rings and lifted our 15th Championship banner. At the ceremony we had past Laker great champions such as "Mr. Clutch" Jerry West, James Worthy, Rick Fox and the great Magic Johnson. We had a seperate special presentation for the inventer of Phils famous triangle offense, Tex Winter before the 4th qt. We were the second of TNTs double header. We defeated the other LA team 99-92 but believe me it wasnt that close as we went on cruise for a while before turning it back on to begin the 4th. Kobe led the way with 33pts 8reb 3ast and 4stl. Big Bynum stepped up to be his Robin as Pau was out with an injury. Drew had 26pts and 13reb and played 38min. In his debut with us Ron Artest had 10pts 5reb and 4ast and LO was big in starting for Gasol, 16pts 13reb 5ast and 2blk. The Clipps were led by Eric Gordons 21pts and Kamans 14reb with 18pts.
In the first game Boston came back on the Cavs in Cleveland to ruin LeBron and Shaqs debut. The score was 95-89, The C's were led by Paul Pierces 23pts and 11reb. In his return KG had 13pts 10reb and new comer Rasheed Wallace added 12pts and 3reb in 24min off the bench. LeBron had 38pts 8ast 4blk and 5tos and although he made 10 of his 13 fts he missed 2 in the clutch. In his debut Shaq recorded 10&10 in pts and reb.
Tonight we face the improved Dallas Mavericks who lost their opener at home to the Washington Wizards 102-91. Dirk led them with 34pts and 9reb and the new guy Shawn Marion added 16pts 7reb and 3blk. JJ Barea had 13pts 4ast and 6reb off the bench. The Wizards where led by their leader who has only played in 15 games in the past two years Gilbert Arenas. GA had 29pts 9ast in 38min and Caron Butler added 16pts and 8reb. Blatche and newcomer Randy Foye combined for 39pts (Blatche20) off the bench.

Coming off their first win in 10 games the Detroit Lions played well against the Chicago Bears but the Bears turned out to be too much winning 48-24. Led by Matt Forte who fiinally had his break out game of the year with 121 yds on only 12 carries and 1 TD. Jay Cutler did a good job managing the game throwing for 141 yds on 18/28 with 2 TDs and he had a John Elway in the Super Bowl vs the Packers like TD run from 5 yds out. Before he hurt his knee rookie Mathew Stafford was great going 24/36 for 296 1 TD and 1 int, his fav guy was the great alvin Johnson, as it always should be. CJ caught 8 passes for 133 yds.
The Cincinnati Bengals needed OT to be the Cleveland Browns 23-20. It was a bit of a suprise with seeing how impressive the Bengals have been this year and the Browns have looked like one of the worst teams in the league all season. Carson Palmer went 23/44 for 230 yds and 2 TDs with an int. Cedric Benson kept up his good running goin for 74 yds on 18 runs. Ochocinco caught both of Palmers TDs. Derek Anderson is back in as the starting QB in Cle which is what he shouldve been all along. He was 26/48 for 269 yds a TD and an int. His suprising go to guy was unknown rookie out of UGA Mohamed Massaquoi who had 8 cat for 148 yds. Jerome Harrison ran for 121 yds on 29 runs.
Edgerrin James made his return to Indianapolis and the crowd showed their love and appreciate for my boy EJ from DaU!!! as the backup RB in Seattle. My Colts of course still won big time 34-17 with the double up and for the first time in his career THE GREAT Peyton Manning has thrown for over 300 yds in 4 straight games. Peyton was 31/41 for 353 yds 2 TDs and an int. Dallas Clark 8 cat 80 yds, Reggie Wayne 6 cat 74 yds 1 TD, Pierre Garcon 3 cat 71 yds, Austin Collie 6 cat 65 yds and Joseph Addai 7 cat 50 yds. Seneca Wallace still filling in for the injured Matt Hasselback went 33/45 for 257 yds and a TD. EJ had 4 runs for 16 yds and a catch for 6 yds.
VINCE YOUNG!!! VINCE YOUNG!!! VINCE YOUNG!!!
The team he plays for which I will NOT say their name, sucks!!!
In New Englands 27-21 win over Baltimore the refs had way too much to do with the outcome with some absolutely horrible calls. But the Ravens still had a chance to piss off the refs and still win but former Oklahoma WR Mark Clayton dropped two clutch passes including one on 4th down after Flacco put it perfect inbetween the 8 and 9 on his jersey. Joe Flacco completed 27/47 for 264 yds 2 TDs and an int hitting Derek Mason 7 times for 88 yds and a TD. Ray Rice had 11 runs for 103 yds and 5 cat for 49 yds. Ray Lewis had 14 tackles and Terrell Suggs had 6 tackles and a forced fumble on a sack. Brady was 21/32 for 256 yds and 1 TD wit hthe TD going to Randy Moss for his first off the year. Randy caught 3 passes for 50 yds.
In the battle of which will win it, great offense vs great defense the O of the Saints won 24-10. However they also played some good D to help seal the victory. Drew Brees only had to go 20/32 for just 190 yds thats how good the Saints D and running game has become this year. Finally looking like they realize Reggie Bush is not a NFL RB they have two true backs to go to in Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas and this week it was Thomas' turn he had 19 carries for 86 yds and the only offensive TD for New Orleans. They had a fumble recovery in the endzone for a TD and Darren Sharper does it again with a 99 yd int return for the first TD. The rookie Mark Sanchez struggled throwing 3 ints and lost the fumble that was recovered for a TD.
Uh Oh looks like the Cowboys are in trouble and even bigger Uh Oh looks like the Broncos are for real. Denver beat Dallas 17-10 after trailing 10-0 at the end of the first qt. Kyle Orton has yet to throw an interception the season. In this game he went 20/29 for 243 yds and 2 TDs with Brandon Marshell being his lead WR with 4 cat for 91 yds and the game winning TD. My boy B.Marsh who I believe is a top 3 at best and top 5 at worst WR in the league was incredible in making the catch and run after to give Denver the win. In the true meaning of 'Mossing' somebody thats exactly what Marsh did to Terence Newman going right over the top of him like he was a 5th grader taking candy from a kindrgardener. He snatched the ball and then the "on paper mighty Dallas D" looked scarred to tackle him as he made tem look like fools and the guy who gave up the catch T.New (who I do like bdw) gave up on even trying to catch Brandon as he went into the endzone. Tony Romo was 25/42 for 255 yds and an int to Champ Bailey who looks to be back as one of the premire and top 5 CBs in the league. Although Romo missed numerous of looked like open WRs with passes that were high and/or off the person to me who deserves the most blame thus far is Jason Garrett the offensive cooridinator and Im not letting that weak coach Wade Phillips off the hook either. He has no control and Garrett is ridiculous. The top rushing game in the league was not able to get into a rythem because of all the passing. The Cowboys should never throw the ball 40+ times this year not even 30+ when they have the lead they had early. Brian Dawkins had 7 tackles and was the main force behind the Broncos buckling down and shutting down the Cowboy offensive after the 1st qt. Champ Bailey had 8 tackles an interception and many pass deflections including 2 on the last two plays of the Cowboys drive that got stopped at the 2 yd line. Romo was the one who got the team down there in position to all you Cowboy fans who where so deep in love with him just 3 yrs ago.
My underdog pick of the year and pick to win the West every since the summer the 49ers blank the Rams 35-0. Lead by the best young LB in the game Patrick Willis who had 8 tackles 2.5 sacks and an int that he returned 23 yds for a TD. Takeo Spike had 8 tackles and a sack also. The Niners are one knocked down pass by Brett Favre last week from being undefeated. Believe me the culture over the last decade or so has been changed big ups to the organization for making Mike Singletary the Head Coach you all see now what I knew along time ago that it was the best decision.
The defending champs are in trouble to me and I dont want to hear the lame excuse of Polamalu is out. I really dont believe that him and him alone can affect who good that defense is and if that is true than I dont want to hear all that bullcrap about how great their D is because it aint true. Troy is great and everybody else is ok at best and most of them suck... if you want to use him being out as an excuse! They where up 28-0 on San Diego with 1min left in the 3rd qt Sunday Night at home and then Phillip Rivers took over cutting the lead in half to 28-14 the nafter a Pitt score pushed it back up to 35-14 the Chargers got two more TDs making it 35-28. The Steelers did hold on to win 38-28 but it is crazy that they had to even fight in the end for the win after being out scored in the last 16 min of the 28-7. Rothlisburger was 26/33 for 333 yds and 2 TDs. And second year RB Rashard Mendenhall who started his 2nd game of his career, his 1st being last yr vs the Ravens where Ray Lewis made him pay for trash talk he did and welcome him to the league by breaking his shoulder. This go around the young talented back got to show off his skills that I first noticed while he was in college at Illinois. He had 29 carries for 165 yds and 2 TDs, very impressive even though the Chargers D is pitiful and Shawne Marriman should be ashamed. With no running game because Waco via Marlin native LT is all but finished (and damn it hurts me deep to say that but it hurts even worse to watch him struggle and fade away) and as good as Sproles is he is just too small to carry a whole load. So Rivers brought the team back all by himself with his WRs but mainly AllPro TE Antonio Gates. Rivers was 21/36 for 254 yds and 3 TDs 2 of which to Gates who caught 9 passes for 124 yds.
Brett Favre does it again! In his first game against the team that he gave 16 yrs of his life to he led his new team, their arch rival to a win over them 30-23. Brett had to win the game as the Packers found a way to eliminate AD. He was 24/31 for 271 yds and 3 TDs with no interceptions. Mainly going to Bernard Berrian who had 6 cat 75 yds 1 TD and Sidney Rice 5 cat 70 yds 1 TD. AD only had 55 yds on 25 carries with 1 TD. His successer Aaron Rodgers was great in defeat though esp under all the pressure he was under because of his horrible line that allowed him to be sacked 8 times. Rodgers threw for 384 yds on 26/37 passsing with 2 TDs and an int. Jermichael Finley caught 6 passes for 128 yds and a TD.

My freshman Tate Forcier couldnt pull it off again as Michigan lost for the first time this year. The loss came at the hands of their in state rival Michigan St, final score 26-20 in OT. Michigan St were up 20-6 with only a little over 4 min left in the game until my boy played Captin Comeback again throwing two 4th qt touchdowns to tie it up and force overtime. First in the heavy rain and wind he hit Darryl Stonum for a 60 yd TD then with :02 remaining in regulation he hooked up with Roy Roundtree to cap off a 92 yd drive. In OT an exhausted Forcier from running and passing his team back into the game made his only mistake of the day when his pass got tipped in the endzone and was intercepted. Michigan St took advantage and Larry Caper took in from 23 yds out to end it. Tate was 17/32 for 223 yds the 2 late TDs and 1 int. He also had 13 runs for 27 yds.
LSU stepped up to all the critics who felt them being ranked #4 was a fluke and they havent played anyone (kind of like the Denver Broncos of college) and they beat Georgia 20-13. The end was dramatic after the game wad rather boring throughout. AJ Green caught a 16 yd pass from Cox for a TD to put UGA up 13-12 with only 1:09 left. It looked over LSU until Charles Scott took it up the middle 33 yds for the go ahead and game winning TD with :46 remaining. Scott had 19 carries for 95 yds on the day and 2 TDs. Green caught 5 passes for 99 yds and the TD.
Notre Dame wins another close one in OT. This one against Washington, 37-30. Led by their Jr QB and one of the top canidates for the Heisman Jimmy Clausen who went 23/31 for 422 yds 2 TDs and 1 int. His top WR was Golden Tate who caught 9 passes for 244 yds and 1 TD. Washington QB Jake Locker was also impressive going 22/40 281 yds and 1 TD and 16 runs for 33 yds and a TD. Chris Polk ran for 136 yds on 22 carries to lead Wash on the ground. It was a back and forth game with 7 lead changes. Wash looked to be in control with about 3 min left up 27-22 until Jimmy threw a TD with 1 min left. Then Locker led a drive to get Erik Folk in position for his game tying FG to go to OT tied at 30. But to much D for ND in OT.
Auburn trying to show they are for real as they beat Tennessee 26-22. They led throughout and it looked to be a blow out with the score 23-6 in the 4th qt. Then Tenn began the comeback Montario Hardesty caught a pass from Jonathan Crompton and took it 31 yds for a TD. Then a late FG made it 23-16 only a TD behind now for the Vols but with :39 remaining Aub put it out of reach with a FG. Tenn scored a TD with no time left but it was just not enough. Chris Todd is now the fulltime starter at QB with them moving the more mobile Kodi Burns to WR. Burns has been a great leader about the situation, of course he wants to be QB and he let the team know that when he addressed them earlier this season after the decision was made but he also said he just wants to help the team win and is willing to do whatever it takes. Todd was 19/32 218 and a TD while Burns was 1/3 17 yds and had 5 runs for 16 yds. Ben Tate led the team with 128 yds on 25 carries and a TD. For Tenn Hardesty had 90 yds on 21 runs and caught 3 for 56 yds with one TD on both. Crompton completed 20/43 for 259 yds 2 TDs and 0 ints.
IF YOU STILL HATING ON THIS U!!! THEN GO TO HELL!!! CAUSE WE BACK!!!
THE... MY Miami Hurricanes knocked off one of my top 2 most hated teams, (USC the other) Oklahoma 21-20. We came out and couldnt stop the run early wit hOU jumping to a 0-10 lead early in the second qt. Then the goat of last weeks lost for us basketball player Jimmy Graham held on this time to catch a 18 yd TD pass from JaCroy to get us back into it at 7-10. After the early rush from OU when they picked off JaCory twice on passes that looked like he and his WRs were not on the same page the D calmed down and took control of the game shutting down OUs offense. OU got the ball to start the second half but the D forced a fumble and the O capitalized on it when JaCory hit his other TE Dedrick Epps for a 11 yd TD to put us up 14-10. After more great D JaCory threw his 3rd TD midway through the qt to Travis Benjamin over the middle on 3rd down for 38 yds, 21-10. Stoops was all in his DBs face for the mix up in coverage. DeMarco Murray had a 2 yd TD run late in the 3rd to cut the lead to 21-17 going into the 4th. After good defense from both teams OU finally broke through getting a FG with 4:18 left to make it 21-20. Assuming we would just try to run out the clock and play defense if needed to win it OU packed the line and our offensive coordinater being the genius he is called an amazing play action roll out where JaCory completed the pass for a first down. Just incredible play calling after the early mistakes but esp on that final drive that went 11 plays and ran out the final 4 min of the game.
We had 12 penalties for 115 yds but the Sooners could not capitalize on them as we scored 21 straight to win it. Harris completed 19 of his 28 passes for 202 yds and the 3 TDs and 2 ints. JaCory did a great job managing the team after his first 4 passes went 2 complete and 2 intercepted. He completed 17/24 to finish and 9/10 and one point. The running game was also on point with Javarris James going for a career high 150 yds on only 15 carries. The Senior had his longest run since his freshman year, a 50 yarder in the second qt to set up the first TD. DaU!!! IZ BACK PEOPLE!!! LOVE IT OR HATE IT IT DONT MATTER YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DEAL WITH THIS U-SWAGG!!!

Last week I was off on my NFL picks as well as my college picks, going 7-5 in the league and only 5-4 in college. My overall record is 12-7 NFL and 13-9 college. I once again would have done better if I had not second guest myself a few times. The Niners would have beaten the Vikes if Gore would not have got hurt. My Canes didnt show up and I knew Wash couldnt keep the momentum after the SC upset. Cinncy is real!!! Tennesse is in REAL trouble!!! As for this week I am having trouble deciding on a few as we have some major match ups such as NYJ/NO great D vs great O. SD/Pitt chargers have never won against Pitt in the reg season but the Steelers are in almost as much trouble as the Titans. Will Tenn finally put in Vince so they can start winning vs Jax and who sucks more, TB or Wash? Can Detroit keep it going at Chi which was the place of their last road win in 07. Bal/NE can my boys Ray and Ed keep the Ravens undefeated GB/Min Rodgers/Favre who will come out on top and Dal/Den whos fake and whos rea?

Congratulations to the Detroit Lions who won their 1st game in their last 20. They beat the Redskins at home 19-14. Rookie Matthew Stafford was impressive 21-36 241 yds 1 TD. 2nd year RB Kevin Smith who experienced his 1st career win ran for 101 yds on 16 carries. In defeat Jason Campbell threw for 340 yds on 27-41 passing and 2 TDs. Santana was his main target. Moss caught 10 passes for 178 yds and a TD. They didnt give Clinton Portis the ball enough only 12 carries 42 yds. They say Coach Jim Zorn is safe for now but I really dont see how he is hindering Campbells growth and cant coach this offense, he should be fired!
Jacksonville stole one in Houston 31-24 for their 1st win of the season. Houston had it won until former #1 overall pick Mario Williams got a penalty for a horse-collar on 3rd down which extended Jax drive. Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 119 yds on 23 carries and 3 TDs. This season is his first as the feature back. Matt Schaub was good throwing for 300 yds on 26-35 and 3 TDs.
In a must win for Tennessee against the Jets they didnt! New York took an early 14-0 lead int the first but the Titans would battle back to lead 17-14 in the 3rd. But after that it was all NY who won 24-17 led by their new #1 WR Jerricho Cotchery who had 8 cat for 108 yds and a TD. Rookie QB Mark Sanchez became the first rookie QB to start and win all of his first 3 games. He was 17-30 171 yds 2 TDs 1 int and an amazing 14 yd TD run where he lowered his shoulders and head to get into the endzone. For Tennessee Chris Johnson ran for 97 yds on 22 runs. QB Kerry Collins was horrible again 15-37 170 yds 1 TD and 2 ints. He missed on his last 13 passes.(VINCE YOUNG!!! thats all Im saying).
My Eagles took care of business against Kansas City without Donovan who was resting his ribs for another week and we have a bye next week. Kevin Kolb led us to our 34-14 victory. Kolb was 24-34 for 327 yds and 2 TDs no ints. He became the first QB in history to throw for over 300 yds in both of his first two starts. Rookie LeSean McCoy led our running game with Brian Westbrook out with an injury, he had 20 runs for 84 yds and a TD. TE Brent Celek had 8 cat for 104 yds and a TD and second year WR my boy "D-Jack" DeSean Jackson also had a big day with 6 cat for a career high 149 yds including a 64 yd TD. My boy did a cartwheel into the endzone lol he a fool but you either Love the Swagg or keep hating! The game was also the homie Mike Vicks first game in over 2 years. He was not used much only 0-2 passing and 1 run for 7 yds.
The Vikings won in dramatic fashion over the 49ers 27-24. Frank Gore was only in for one carry before he had to leave the game with an ankle injury. San Fran had no running game after that but Shaun Hill was nice with the offensive leader and soldier out. Hill was 15-25 for 195 yds and 2 TDs with 1 int. His main target was one of the great young up and coming TEs in the league, Vernon Davis he had 7 cat 96 yds and both of the TD passes. AD ran for 85 yds on 19 carries but the day was stole by the old man. Favre was only 24-46 but threw for 301 yds and 2 TDs 1 int. On the final drive he went 80 yds on 10 plays in only 1:27 and threw his first ever game winner in the final :10 of a game. He found Greg Lewis a former Eagle who was just cut by the Pats in the back of the endzone for a 32 yd TD. He wasnt great all day, he did nearly throw what shouldve been a game ending interception on the drive before but Dre Bly dropped it. Hes also getting too much credit for the final play. YES! It was legendary but the catch was even better than the throw. Show Greg some love too, and Im not being bias cause I never really liked him too much when we had him because he dropped every huge crucial throw D-Nabb ever threw him and kept us from beating Carolina in 04 and getting to the Super Bowl a year earlier.
Seattle in those ugly ass jerseys had an early 13-0 lead on my boy Jays Bears but "theBEARS" lol calmed down and regrouped. They were still down 13-7 at halftime after Matt Forte was stuffed at the goalline Coach Lovie Smith went for it on 4th&goal and off the playaction Jay Cutler made a great jump pass to Greg Olsen (from DaU!!!) while being rushed They dominated the 3rd and took a 17-13 lead into the 4th. The Seahawks captured the lead again at 19-17 but with 1:52 left in the game Devin Hester (from DaU!!!) caught a slant and broke a tackle on his way to the endzone from 36 yds out. They got the 2pt convo final score 25-19. Cutler was an outstanding 21-27 for 247 yds 3 TDs and 1 int.
The Cincinnati Bengals are living up to the early high hopes and predictions of their star WR Chad Ochocinco as they get another upset. This one over the defending champs. It was their first time beating Pittsburgh at home in 6 years. The Steelers where up 20-9 going into the 4th then the Bengals scored two 4th qt TDs. Carson Palmer hit Andre Caldwell with :14 left for a 4 yd TD pass that capped off a 16 play 71 yd drive to win it. Caldwell had 6 cat for 52 yds and Ochocinco had 5 cat for 54 yds. They were Carsons main targets as he finished with 183 yds and completed 20-37. Cedric Benson ran for 76 yds on 16 runs with the other 4th qt TD. Ben Rothlisburger was 22-31 276 yds and 1 TD with an unlikely go to guy in Mike Wallace. He had 7 cat 102 yds and Willie Parker caught the only TD pass he also ran for 93 on 25 carries.
My Colts did they thing on Sunday Night in Arizona winning 31-10. Peyton threw 4 TDs to 4 different guys. He was 24-35 for 379 yds. Reggie Wayne had 126 yds with 7 cat, Pierre Garcon 3 cat 64 yds 1 TD, Austin Collie 3 cat 47 yds, Dallas Clark 7 cat 62 yds 1 TD. The other TD was caught by Joseph Addai and he ran for 63 yds on 13 carries, the guy he shares time with rookie Donald Brown ran for 40 yds on 14 carries and had a huge 72 yd rec. Kurt Warner was 30-52 332 yds 1 TD 2 ints.
The Cowboys got their first win in their new stadium beating the Carolina Panthers 21-7. They were shutout in the first half 7-0 was the lead for Carolina but that was just a good 2:00 drive that took 1:45 8 plays 90 yds and was capped off with a 25 yd TD pass to Dante Rosario. Delhomme was 22-33 with 220 yds 1 TD and 2 more ints. although you could argue that neither one was his fault. Steve Smith aknowledged and apologized for the second int saying it was his fault. Carolina for some stupid reason stopped running when they are a running team. DeAngelo Williams had 64 yds and only got 11 carries, thats 5.8 avg per carry... WHY THE HELL DID HE NOT GET MORE RUNS????? and lets not forget Jonathan Stewart who only got 3 runs. Romo went 22-33 for 255 yds, Marion Barber was out with injury and after his replacement Felix Jones had 8 runs for 94 yds he got hurt. Tashard Choice ran for 82 yds on 18 runs. Dallas is clearly what I said they would be (if they want to win) the best rushing team in the league. The last two weeks they have ran for over 200 yds its the first time they have done so since the Tony Dorsett days of the 70s. If they would have lost it would have been blamed 100% on Jason Garrett for calling two dumb ridiculous calls on the 2 yd line. A fade lob pass to Roy Williams which he shouldve caught but then on 3rd down choosing to throw it again insted of pounding it in behind that huge overpaid OLine...WHY??? Oh well they won.

At the Big House in Michigan the Wolverines won in a comeback against the Indiana Hoosiers 36-33. They outscored them 15-7 in the 4th to win. My boy, my rook I told yall to look out for Tate Forcier took it over in that qt after being benched in the 2nd qt. Tate took had a 7 yd TD run and ran in the 2pt convo to give the team a 29-26 lead with 9:15 left. Following an Indiana 85 yd TD run by Darius Willis that put them back up Tate led the team down and threw the game winner, a 26 yd TD pass.
My Hurricanes loss to a great Virginia Tech team at their place 31-7. VT (formerly known as Vicks Team) simply dominated the line of scrimage on both ends in a rainy messy nasty game (the weather of great football). Tyrod Taylor only had to throw 9 times completing only 4 for 98 yds and a TD, he also ran for 75 yds on 10 carries. The game was controlled by RB Ryan Williams who had 150 yds 2 TDs on 34 carries. JaCory Harris who up until this game was playing like the best QB in the country and under serious consideration for the Heisman early on was only 9/25 for 150 yds and an int.
In the major upset of the weekend #6 Cal lost to unranked Oregon big time 42-3!!! The Ducks shut down Jahvin Best the best RB in the nation and the only none QB in the early season running for the Heisman holding him to 55 yds on 16 carries. His counterpart LaMichael James the Oregon RB had another big day trying to show theres more than just one bigtime RB in the Pac10. He had 118 yds on 21 carries and a TD. The Oregon QB Jeremiah Masoli completed 21-25 for 253 yds and 3 TDs.
In other upset news Iowa defeated Penn St in Happy Valley 21-10. Penn St QB Daryll Clark threw 3 ints in the lost. This is just another Penn St upset at the hands to the Iowa Hawkeyes. It seems when these two get together the story of the game is Iowa hangs on in an ugly way all game long then at the end find a way to win. PSU was up 10-0 early then Iowa made it 10-5 by halftime. After noone scored in the 3rd qt the Hawkeyes outscored PSU 16-0 for the victory.
In a game that we all thought would have over 1,000 total yds and 100 total points Houston beat Texas Tech only 29-28. Tech was up 21-13 at the half. Houston closed the gap going into the 4th 28-23 and scored the 6 pts of the 4th to win it with :49 left. They went for 2 and failed. The 4th although having the least points was no doubt the most exciting part of the game with the great defense between these two teams who are only known for their offense. Case Keenum the Houston QB threw for 435 yds on 38/58 with 1 TD and 1 int and he ran the 4 yd game winning TD also. RB Charles Sims was the leading WR with 10 cat for 122 yds. James Cleveland caught the only TD pass in the 1st qt. TTU QB Taylor Potts was 30/45 for 321 yds and a TD his 2nd impressive performance after his game last week vs Texas. Baron Batch had 19 carries for 114 yds and 2 TDs in the pass heavy offense.
Also in Flordias 41-7 win over Kentucky Tim Tebow was knocked out of the game in the 3rd qt after the team already had a 31-7 lead. It was 31-0 at the end of the 1st. Tebow was hit hard but legally on a sack from Kentucky DE Taylor Wyndham and as he was falling back the back of his head hit one of his teammates legs, Marcus Gilbert and it bent his neck in an akward way. He was carted off the field and after test and being rushed to the hospital it was determined he had a concussion. His status is uncertain when the Gators return from their bye week this week.
Baylor lost their star QB Robert Griffin in their record setting win over Northwestern St 68-13. That is the most points the team has ever scored but it came at a price as Griffin tore his ACL in the 1st qt. He continued to play the rest of the 1st half as he felt he only hyperextended the right knee. He played well in leading the Bears in his time with the score 41-10 at halftime. Robert was 13-19 for 226 yds and 3 TDs. ROb wants to believe he could return at some point this season saying he can play on it again seeing that he played nearly the entire half on it. But in no way is that a smart decision with the explosive way he plays. Yeah that drop back and throw from the pocket stuff worked against this pushover team but he still cant throw and will need his legs in Big12 play. Sorry for all you Bears fans who thought this was finally the year us Waco boys could go Bowling. My boy Jarred Salubi from my high school Waco High (he was a freshman my senior year 2005) got his shine on with the starter Jay Finley out he had 131 yds on 7 carries including a 76 yd TD. Do ya thing boy! Hold it down!

Last week I was 5-2 on my NFL picks but only 8-5 on my college ones. After looking back I realized I should not have second guessed myself on a few in college I should have went with the upsets like I wanted. I had a feeling USC, BYU and Nebraska would loose but oh well I got it wrong. I hate it but SC will bounce back and kill WashSt. Cal has alot to prove they are now the favorite in the Pac10 (theyve been my fav in that bad confrence). After seeing TTU play so good against my Longhorns I think they can take down Houston. I struggle with the Iowa/PennSt and TCU/Clem picks. My Canes are REAL!!!
Ravens will kill the old Browns, Brady sucks Anderson should be the QB. I dont believe in Atl and NE looking to bounce back big. Titans HAVE to win! Point blank period! Vince should still be starting over Collins. I hate to ever pick Dallas but hey they already beat up on one bad NFC South team and theyll do it again on Monday Night... Well they better dont want to go 0-2 in the new stadium lol. Minnesota shut down AD last time they played 14 car 3 yds. I feel they will hold him between 50-78 yds while Frank will not get near 207 but can still get between 80-100 yds Vikings have given up 100+ ryds each game so far. It will come down to Favre/Hill and I really dont know??? MY EAGLES WILL WIN THIS WEEK WITH OR WITHOUT D-NABB!!! WELCOME BACK MIKE VICK!!!

Fabs 5th album is just as great as all his others. Loso is my favorite NY rapper... excuse me correction MC and he brought it strong on this one just like he always does. His lyrics continue to grow when you think he couldnt possiblly have anymore room for growth. I dont see a limit on his growth. Fab could end up like Hov the other great Brooklyn MC, no end in sight. On this one you can see his growth as a person and an artist as he talks about recently becoming a father. Like always he shows he is one of if not the most versitle MC in the game, being able keep it gangsta and do it for the hood and at the same time switch it up and make it smooth for the ladies. Another classic album for Fab still holding it down like no other cop it if you love real tru hip-hop, not only for the east but the south and everybody else can rock to it to.

Another #1 Album for Hov! His 11th, Im not sure if its better than the original Blueprint but to me he might not evber top that one. His last album American Gangster was a classic because of the set up of it as a story, the rise and the fall of a hustler. This album is unique compared to other hip-hop albums just like the previous and the one before that, Kingdom Come because he uses real instruments live in the studio. Look I am a HUGE Game fan thats my nigga I got all his albums and most of the mixtapes. Im a TRU DIP-SET fan from Cam to Juelz to Jimmy and everybody inbetween (I know you gone from the crew but whats happening Hell Rell) but Hov still got it homies. I know dude is damnnear 40, hell its right around the corner but you cant deny the mans lyrical ability still. Sorry Joey, you my dog to (Shout out Slaughterhouse) but Hov still that nigga... But lets get it straight Eminem is THE KING!!!

Before I get into all the top action in the league over the weekend I have to go back and mention two late games in the college ranks Saturday. Nebraska goes into Virgina Tech trying to beat a top 20 for the first time since Eric Crouch left in 2001. Nebraska had it under control until Tyrod Taylor the VT QB took over the game with only a couple of min remaining. He led his team on a great comeback drive at the end where he on the final play scrambled around for what seemed like an eternity before finding Dyrell Roberts for the game winning 11 yd TD pass. 16-15 Tech won! Nebraska had more total and rushing yards and more first downs but the two turnovers lost it for them. I noticed Nebraska fans clapping after the game not able to deny the great game they just witnessed even with their team loosing.
My Texas Longhorns struggled in their game of revenge against Texas Tech the only team to beat us last year in the final seconds. Colt completed 24-34 but for only 205 yds 1 TD and 2 ints. We were led on the ground by former Cowboy great Nate Newtons son Tre who had 20 carries for 88 yds and a TD. Tech QB Taylor Potts in his first yr starting and first time playing in Austin was impressive going 46-62 for 420 yds 3 TDs and only 1 int. We won 34-24 it was alot harder than some fans expected.
Now to Sunday and MondayNight in the NFL.
The Cinncy Bengals shock alot of people when they went into Lambeau and defeated the Green Bay Packers 31-24. Cinncy was led by the running of former UT RB Cedric Benson who had 29 carries for 141 yds (he didnt get none of the TDs Carson threw all 3). Chad Ochocinco had 4 cat for 91 yds and a TD which afterwards he did the famous Lambeau Leap! GBs running game was none-exsistant!
The Rex Ryan New York Jets come through on their promise and dominate the New England Patriots. They won 16-9 holding the Pats to NO TDs!!! The first time Bradys Pats havent done that since Dec 10th 2006 vs the Miami Dolphins. It also ended Tom Bradys 21 game winning streak. The D had Brady under pressure all day forcing him to get the ball out way before he wanted to and make bad plays. He had to throw the ball 47 times because of no running game for the second straight week. He was picked off once by Darrelle Revis who is quickly becoming recognized as the BEST CB in the NFL!!! After last week he held Andre Johnson who is in just about everybodys top 3 WRs if not #1 now to 4 cat 35 yds now this week he held Randy Moss who will be looked at as one of the greatest of all time when he is through to 4 cat 24 yds.
My Eagles got dominated in the second half in our home opener vs the New Orleans Saints led by Drew Brees. After a very good and close played first half where we were only down 13-17 we started off the second with Ellis Hobbs fumbling the kickoff which led to a Brees TD then on the first play of our next drive Kevin Kolb in his first carrer start threw an int which led to a TD and by that time it had become 13-31 and was out of hand and out of reach. Kolb did not play that bad 31-51 391 yds 2 TDs 3 ints but he was forced to throw the ball way too many times because he had little help from the D and STs. Brian Westbrook was avg 4 ypc on 13 before he left the game with an injury. Brees finished 25-34 311 3 TDs and 1 int and Mike Bell ran for 86 yds on 17 runs with a TD.
In maybe the best or at least the most exciting and physical game of the day the Houston Texans upset their rival Tennessee Titans and drop them to 0-2. 34-31 was the final score in Tennessee. Chris Johnson had a monster game running 16 times for 197 yds including a 91 yd TD one of his two on the ground and he caught 9 passes for 87 yds and a TD. His other two TDs were for 57 and 69 yds. He had 284 total yds offense but Kerry Collins (who once again should not be starting over Vince) gave no help and the D could not stop Andre Johnson who had 10 cat 149 yds and 2 TDs. Schaub was 25-39 for 357 yds and 4 TDs. The game also had the first fight of the year and watching it you could see it coming. Tenn DT Jason Jones was ejected from the game for his part in the fight and landing a punch. The crowd cheered loud for him as he left the field krunk and hyped up from the physical play.
I TOLD YALL BOYS BOUT THEM NINERS!!! COACH SINGLETARY IS CHANGING HOW THINGS HAVE BEEN IN THE BAY AREA THE LAST DECADE. 23-10 was the final with the Niners over Seattle. Frank Gore was amazing rushing for 207 yds on only 16 runs and 2 TDs. His two TDs went for 79 yds a carrer high at the time until he later in the game went for an 80 yd TD. Frank becomes only the 2nd player to have two 75+ TD runs in the same game and the 1st since 1997 when THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME BARRY SANDERS did it @Tampa Bay with 80 and 82 yds. Nate "the great" Clements broke up a pass in the endzone on 4th and 10 with 2:17 left in the game intended for TJ Houshmandzadeh. That ended any hopes of any comeback for the Seahawks.
In Chicago the Bears beat the Steelers 17-14 in a raining nasty classic game. Jay Cutler bounced back from his subpar performance last week with 236 yds on 27-38 and 2 TDs. The running game has yet to show up for the Bears this year (where you at Matt Forte... but to his credit this OLine is not that good). It was 7-7 at halftime and Pitt was back up 14-7 going into th 4th. Thats were it all went right for Chicago and all wrong for Pitt. Steelers kicker Jeff Reed missed two FGs on their last two drives that were their longest and could have potentially been their best but no points to show for it. Cutler tied the game up at 14 then on the game winning drive he went 4-4 to set up Robbie Gould for the 44 yd FG to win it with :11 left.
In San Diego the baltimore Ravens defeated the Chargers led by their amazing defense who held the chargers to 4 fgs inside the redzone with the longest being only 29 yds. THATS WHAT I CALL GOALLINE STANDS!!! Phillip Rivers did throw for a career high 436 yds. He completed 25-45 and had 2 TDs. The run game was shut down as LT missed the first game of his career. THE GREAT RAY LEWIS... FROM DA.U!!! won the game on a 4th and 2 when SD was driving for the win. He stuffed Darren Sproles for a 2 yd lose after Rivers had gotten the team all the way to the Ravens 15 yd line. Ray also forced a fumble in the game and forced Rivers to throw an interception. HE STILL THE BEST!!!
Aww the Cowboys lost their home opener in their new stadium... a stadium that is amazing might I add. 33-31 the Giants win on a last second drive by Eli Manning who was as cool and calm as ever during the drive (I guess after you do it in the Super Bowl against an undefeated team doing it in front of 105,000+ praying for your failure is nothing). Eli was 7-9 for 64 yds on the drive and overall for the game 25-38 300 yds and 2 TDs NO turnovers or costly mistakes! His main two targets were Mario Manningham and Steve Smith who both caught 10 passes Mario for 150 yds and a TD and Steve for 134 yds and a TD. As Tony Romo did everything he could to loose the game for his team. He was only 13-29 for only 127 yds and 1 TD and threw 3 interceptions. It wiped out a great game for the two running backs Marion Barber 18 carries 124 yds and a TD and Felix Jones 7 for 96yds and a TD. They were unstoppable but all for nothing because of the turnovers and lack of being able to pressure Eli. Last yr he was only sacked 27 times but 14 came against Dallas but was not brought down once Sunday Night. Dallas has no sacks through two games after leading the league with 59 last season.
Last Night on MNF my Colts amazingly beat the Dolphins after only having the ball for 14:53 the lowest time for a team that won ever! 27-23 was the score after Miami killed us on the ground esp with the wildcat just basicly manhandling us with Ronnie Brown who ran for 136 yds on 24 carries and 2 TDs and my boy Ricky Williams helped out with 69 yds on 19 runs. Ted Ginn Jr (who to me sucks up until this point of his career but did play well last night... ha until it mattered) had 11 cat for 108 yds but dropped a pass in the endzone that could have won the game with seconds remaining. The great Peyton Manning was inspired by his little brother the night before and he led the Colts on a game winning drive that only lasted 3 plays. He started the game off with an 80 yd TD pass to Dallas Clark who had an huge game with 7 cat 183 yds. Pierre Garcon a 2nd yr WR who the team feels can be somewhat like Reggie Wayne won the game on his only catch of the game, a 48 yd screen that he took to the house. Peyton finished with 303 yds on only 14-23 passing and those two TDs. Peyton also passed Johnny Unitas for the most wins in franshise history by a QB with 119.

DaU!!! Iz Back!!! Led by Sophmore QB JaCory Harris the Miami Hurricanes are off to a 2-0 start this season. Harris with his performances in the two games against rivals Flordia St and Georgia Tech has put himself in the early season running for the Heisman. He went 20-25 for 270 yds and 3 Tds in the 33-17 victory. Greg Cooper also ran for 93 yds on 17 carries. Javaris James added 72 yds on the ground on 14 carries. The D was amazing stepping up to the challenge after surrendering over 450 rushing yds last year to Tech they only gave up 95 in this game.
Jahvid Best the only non QB in the Heisman running and the best RB in the nation led Cal to a 35-21 win over Minnesota on the road. Best was great with all 5 of the teams TDs and all on the ground. Best 26 carries 131 yds to go with the TDs. Cal went up 14-0 early and it looked like it would be a blowout then Minn came back it was 21-14 Cal at the half. After Cal was scoreless in the 3rd they went into the 4th tied at 21 and Best took it over from there. Turnovers hurt Minn.
Oregon ended Utahs Nation longest winning streak which stood at 16 straight. 31-24 with the game winning field goal being the only 4th qt scoring. It was a wierd game with the Ducks loosing the time of possesion, loosing the TO battle and only throwing for 95 yds. The big thing for them was they won the ground running the ball and in the special teams. 3 of their 4 TDs were runs and the other was a punt return. LaMichael James ran for 156 yds on 28 carries and had 1 of the TDs Walter Thurmond III had a 78 yd punt return.
USC looses to Washington!!!!! Like McDonalds Im Loving It!!! Jake Locker led the Huskies. He threw for 237 yds on 21-35. SC tried to win it on the ground not allowing the back up QB to open it up (but I dont want to hear hes why they lost because that freshman that starts for them aint done anything either). I guess Mark May couldnt will SC to victory with his bias analysis. Aww too bad!!! Final score 16-13
Lane Kiffin got his team ready while most people thought Flordia would dominate and kill Tennessee after the commits made by the new Tenn coach when he got the job back in December. In the words of the great Lee Carso.... "Not so fast sweetheart" yes Flordia did win of course there shouldnt have been a doubt bout that but only 23-13. Very impressive play by Tenn they hung in there and they did not give up anything huge to Flordia. They ran the ball with Montario Hardesty mostly in efforts of controlling the clock. But even with his 20 carries for 96 yds it wasnt enough as Fla still had it more. Tebow totaled only 191 yds 115 through the air. Even in defeat the player of the game was future first round draft pick and All American Safty Eric Berry who had 11 tackles and an interception. Kiffins team couldnt come through on his promise to beat Fla but they did earn Fla respect if it had lacked over the last few months.
Boise St and Fresno St played a great one last night even with Boise pulling away for the 51-34 win it was crazy. Boise went up early 17-0 then 24-3 then Fresno went on their run to pull within 3 at 27-24. After that it was all Boise. Fresno RB Ryan Mathews ran for 234 yds on 19 carries and 3 TDs to do all he could to get his team the victory but had no help from his QB. Boise used two RBs for their rushing attack Jeremy Avery and D.J. Harper who combined for 293 yds and 1 TD.
Notre Dame won a big game under Charlie Weis OMG!!!! Somebody go see if those people in hell got their ice water! 33-30 was the score of another classic between the two teams in South Bend but this time for the first time since 1993 Notre Dame wins. Jimmy Clausen 22-31 300 yds 2 TDs. They were led on the ground by Armando Allen who had 23 carries for 115 yds and a TD. Their star WR Tate had 127 yds on 7 catches and 1 TD. Kirk Cousins the Michigan St QB was 23-35 for 302 yds and 1 TD but also a costly int on the final drive. He was trying to make an unnecessary play under pressure and threw a bad pass that was picked off by Kyle McCarthy the defensive leader and star safety for the Fighting Irish. Most of Cousins plays were to Mark Dell, 6 catches 121 yds.

Sorry Im a little late on this. I wanted to show you my picks that I made earlier during the preseason. So here we go my playoff picks.
NFC
1. Philadelphia
2. Minnesota
3. New Orleans
4. San Francisco
5. New York
6. Green Bay
AFC
1. Indianapolis
2. New England
3. Baltimore
4. San Diego
5. Pittsburgh
6. Tennessee

Of course the top four seeds are the division winners. Now in the NFC I do believe Green Bay could challenge Minnesota and even win the north. Also Chicago will be in the mix but Im not sure if theyll beat out those two. Detroit still has alot to prove and they need to be playing Daunte not the rookie. We will out right win the east. Dallas and Washington will be good but in the leagues toughest division not good enough. The south and west suck so the Saints and my suprise pick 49ers will take care of that. Carolina no QB, Tampa secondary is horrible and Atlanta has never had back to back winning seasons and even though Im a Matt Ryan believer and they have Michael Turner and now Tony Gonzalez that wont change this year. St. Louis is the worst team in the league. Ive never respected Seattle but I will admit they did impress me a little in the preaseaon and Arizona wont do it again.
As for the AFC we will win the south which is maybe the second toughest division in the league. Tennessee still talented enough to challenge but would be better with Vince at QB. Jacksonville is a huge question mark to me and Houston might be the second worst team in the league, I feel sorry for my boy Andre Johnson who could be better than Fitzgerald (Detroit will improve... at least one game lol). New York will be good with that defense and running game but I feel their QBs are the reason they wont beat out the Pats for the division. Buffalo just aint got it and Miami will still be pretty good but thats all (nobody will be suprised by the wildcat now). B-MORE!!! got the north over Pittsburgh, always felt that way and now the Polamalu injury (that I apologize for not mentioning in my previous post) just makes me know it stonger. Cleveland will suck with Bradys overrated ass as their QB (Anderson way better and I think Braylon Edwards prefers him too) and Cinncy wont be as good as Ochocinco thinks they will be but they will be improved (Chad said theyll go 12-4). Chargers will win horrible west by default but Oakland (who I want to win) did impress alot just dont know if they can continue it. Denver and Kansas City suck! Sorry Derrick (Waco High alumni) but he will struggle with them moving to the 3-4 and he has to play inside. He goes from maybe the best weak side line backer (LOLB) in the league to an average LMLB and I think it might be over for Larry Johnson. Brandon Marshell is to me one of the top WRs in the league but Denver just dont have enough around him and he might not even be there to long (damn I feel bad for B. Dawk really wish he was still in Philly).

Gotta start off with my Eagles!!! We kicked Carolina ass 38-10. The D was amazing Sheldon Brown (top 10 CB) had 2 ints. We forced the old and washed up Jake Delhomme to throw 4 ints and fumble once coming off his horrible performance last year in their only playoff game hosting Arizona where he threw 5 ints with a fumble. That was their only lost at home off the season after going 8-0 during the regular season. Well we start em off 0-1 this year. But the win came at a cost, on a dirty hit by #92 Damione Lewis a 6'2" 301lb DT (DAMN &he from DaU too) on Donovan McNabb after he had already scored on a scramble to put us up 38-10. McNabb suffered a fractured rib on the hit. It is unknown if he will be able to play next week against the Saints are not. We have 2nd year QB Kevin Kolb on the roster but Michael Vick will not be able to play until week 3. We cut A.J. Feely after the preseason and hasd thoughts of bringing him back now but he had an oppurtunity to go to New England or Carolina for the rest of the season and chose Carolina. The reason the spot was open there is because after Delhomme was benched newly aquired backup Josh McCown came in and got hurt, he has been placed on the IR so his seaon is over. So we decided to go get another former Eagle QB the proven winner Jeff Garcia who had recently requested to be cut from Oakland after they decided to stick with JaMarcus Russell. Garcia comes in as insurance for us. If the injury to McNabb is serious and he cant go for some time and Kolb cant perform right and Coach Reid is unsure about Vick as our main QB he knows what he has in Garcia. We also have lost Shawn Andrews for the season after he missed the entire preseason with a back injury his back will need additional surgery. Also Michael Vick has been activated to the 53 man roster making him eligible to practice with team. This means he can get used to playing with the starters in real gametime plays not just his package, this will help him get ready if called upon. I like bringing in Jeff because Mike cant play this week and we have Super Bowl on our mind meaning every game counts if DNabb cant go we cant just lay down if Kolb struggles no let Jeff in he can make it happen.
Now to speak a little on my AFC squad, the Colts. We beat Jacksonville 14-12 another hard fought defensive battle between the two AFC South rivals. The only action that happen in the scoreless 1st qt was Anthony Gonzalez, 3rd year WR out of Ohio St who was set this year to replace retired future Hall Of Famer Marvin Harrison, going down with a knee injury. It was real crazy to see hi m get hurt because it was one of those freak no contact injuries. He did not return to the game and will be out 2-6 weeks with the strained knee. Reggie Wayne took over how he does with 10 cat for 162 yds and the game deciding TD in the 3rd qt. In the 4th the only score was from Maurice Jones-Drew of thw Jags he had 21 car for 97 yds wit hthat TD. They went for two to tie the game at 14 and failed. Peyton Manning finisheed with 301 yds on 28-38 passing an amazing 74%.
The season kicked off Thursday night in Pittsburgh where the defending champ Steelers hosts the Tennessee Titans. The Steelers prevailed in overtime 13-10. It was a great defensive controled game as expected. Ben Rothlisburger had 363 yds on 33-43 77%. His top reciever was Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes whose numbers where nearly equal to what he put up in the Super Bowl 9 cat 131 yds 1TD. The game was nearly loose for Pitt when reliable vet. Hines Ward fumbled inside the redzone. The Titans went down and missed a would be game winning field goal it went to OT and the rest is history.
After everything that went on with the Denver Broncos in the offseason from firing long time Head Coach Mike Shanahan, hiring young Josh McDaneils as his replacement, him pissing off Jay Cutler who was set to be the franchise QB then they had to trade him, Brandon Marshell feeling disrespected and doing what he do and everything else none of it matters now. Why? Because they did the unthinkable and won a game..lol well they were playing Cinncinatti. It still took a freak play right out of Madden the video game to make it happen. Denver had two field goals to go into the 4th qt with a 6-0 lead then late Cinncy got a TD from Cedric Benson and went up 7-6 with only 33 sec left. Kyle Orton threw up a prayer to the talented Marshell which was covered perfectly by the Bengles but they didnt expect what happen next. Brandon Stokely came over and caught the ball off the tip and took it in for the go ahead 87 yd TD. What caped it off was before he ran into the endzone he ran along the goaline to run off more time from the clock. Fnal score 12-7
Minnesota beat Cleveland 34-20 led by of course a great day from the leagues best RB Adrian Peterson. AD had 180 yds rushing on 25 carries a 7.2 ypc avg and 3 TDs. Thats the formula for them to make it to the Super Bowl, alot of AD great D and Favre manage. The near 40 yr older had only 110 yds on 14-21.
AD had the best day running overall well Drew Brees had the best day passing. In leading his New Orleans Saints to a 45-27 victory over the now you could consider them 0-18 Detriot Lions Brees threw for 358 yds on 26-34 76% and had 6 yes count em 6TDs. This guy is amazing and if youve known me long enough then you know its no lie that I knew he would be great when everyone else thought he would suck, Im talking Purdue days and San Diego should have believed in him but I knew about Rivers also from his freshman year at North Carolina St. Mike Bell who the Saints just got this year who was a RB converted into a FB and now is back at playing the RB is big trouble for the former #2 overall BUST from USC Reggie Bush. Why because he had 143 yds on 28 carries holding Bush to only 14yds on 7 carries. Plus you cant forget about Pierre Thomas he will be back soon to so Mr. Bush might as well just get his postion listed as Return Specialist/WR because its over for him as a RB.... like he ever was one in the league anyway lol.
Now for Larry and Joe and all you other Cowgi... oops I mean Cowboy fans out there...lol. Yea they beat Tampa Bay 34-21 breaking away in the 2nd half after a close 1st where Tony Romo was off and inaccurate. After halftime Romo took care of the pitiful Tampa secondary conecting for 2 of his 3 TDs to 3 different WRs. 1st up was a 41 yder to Miles Austin where he made a great move and pick up most of the yds after the catch. Then he hit Roy Williams (who you cowboy fans dont respect so yall need to send him to my team) for a 66 yd TD and in the 4th Patrick Crayton for 80 yds. The Tampa DBs SUCK!!! Barber needs to retire and Talib still has growth to do and I dont even know the other nobodys. All yall think this win ment alot HAHAHA ok we will see this week when yall play the Giants because I honestly didnt see much to make me say "damn da cowboys might actually do summin dis year." Just being honest sorry dont get mad. Caddilac and Ward still ran for 159 yds on 25 carries combined and Leftwich didnt have a bad day just didnt have the benefit of going against a secondary that was confused and didnt know their assignments like Romo. Romo finished with a career high 353 yds on 16-27 passing. Also correct me if Im wrong but dont these guys start off like this every year but oh well it never means anything in December and they dont even make it to January most of the time.
San Francisco my franchise team on Madden 09 and my pick in the NFC West beat the defending NFC West and Super Bowl looser Arizona Cardinals 20-16. Shaun Hill went 18-31 for 209 yds and a TD and had help from THE MOST UNDERRATED RB IN THE LEAGUE Frank Gore. Although Frank was held in check by the Cards the Niners consistently went to him to wear down the D and keep them honest. While San Frans D led by THE BEST YOUNG LB IN THE LEAGUE Patrick Willis stuffed Ari run game and made them one deminsional. Larry Fitzgerald who most consider the leagues best WR had 6 cat for 71 yds and his counterpart Anquan Boldin only had 2 cat 19 yds.
The Sunday Night season which looks t ohave alot of great rivalries on was kicked off with the Green Bay Packers hosting their biggest rivals the Chicago Bears. This is the leagues longest rivalry. I believe this was one of the best games of the weekend. In his debut with the Bears Jay Cutler threw 4 ints but if you really pay attention to them I feel lie only one was out right his fault, when he rolled out and threw the ball back across his body. There was one that was just an incredible play by Jolly a 300+lb DT another the other two where on his WRs including the final one at the end when they where trying to drive down for the win and Al Harris took it. The running game was nonexsistant so that didnt help him either. Both OLines where horrible in this one having both great young QBs under pressure all game. Aaron Rodgers was under fire from Adewale Ogunleye the whole game and he got to him for 2 sacks as he destoyed the T. Cutler was 17-36 for 277 yds and 1 TD to his top WR the speedy Devin Hester who caught 4 passes for 90 yds also. Rodgers was 17-28 184 yds and connected with his top gun Greg Jennings for his only TD which was the game winner. Jennings caught 6 passes for 106 yds. He beat Nathan Vasher for the 50 yd TD. Final score 21-15. The worst news of the night was not the lost game but the loss of their leader Brian Urlacher who suffered a dislocated right wrist early on he had surgery today and will miss the remainder of the season. The good in that was they still played very well defensivly without him. Dont worry Jay ya boys gonna bounce back and still have a good season. I truely believe that... yall know this my shit I aint here to make nobody feel good with lies Ima keep it 1000% homie and thats what I really think BALEE-DAT!!! TRILL TALK!!!
HOW THE HELL DID NEW ENGLAND WIN LAST NIGHT??? Oh yea I remember they were playing Buffalo. These guys just find a way to loose esp on Monday Night. I take you back two years ago they had Dallas beat and I believe loss by the same exact score after letting them come back in the 4th. They held the Pats to 10 pts going into the 4th qt and were up a TD. They went up 24-13 with 5:32 left and the great Randy Moss said Tom Brady came to the huddle and said "We're gonna win this game!" After that Brady hit Benjamin Watson for a TD then on the kickoff Leodis McKelvin did not knell in the endzone insted brought it out with about 2:00 left he was rocked by Brandon Merriweather and stripped of the ball. Pats recovered the fumble and of course Brady capitalized hitting Watson again this time for the go ahead and game winning TD 25-24. Tom was 39-53 for 378 yds with those two TDs. Moss and Welker both caught 12 passes Welker for 93 yds and Randy had 141 yds. Trent Edwards the Bills QB had a good game 15-25 for 212 yds and 2 TDs. He has been under heavy criticism but he was not to blame for this lose. TO on the other hand..... lol forget it he had 2 cat for 46 yds.
I just realized that the NFL Network has decided that the best 4 games of week 1 where Tenn/Pitt (of course like I said), Chi/GB (said that one too), Buff/NE (yep had that one down) & KC/Bal... WWOOWWW!!! Now I love the Ravens (best D ever over a decade period of time) but naw they won by 14 pts I understand they broke away at the end but still the three before 3pts, 6pts, and 1pt. There was also others that were close but the other game lastnight between San Diego and Oakland should have been on there. Final score Chargers winning 24-20 and that being very VERY controversial to me because there was an Oak TD called back in the 2nd qt and they had to settle for 3. The replay clearly showed the rookie WR who would later in the 4th get his 1st career TD on a beautiful throw by JaMarcus, caught the ball and got two feet down in the endzone. Yes it did come out later not even when he initially hit the ground but that should not have gotten the TD overruled. This was the hardest hitting game I saw all weekend every one was suprised at how good Oak looked as they came out running all over the Charger D with Shawne Marriman back in the lineup. McFadden and Bush finished with 123 yds on 29 carries and a Bush TD. The most underrated TE in the league Zach Miller was Russells main target as always with 6 cat for 96 yds and the rookie Murphy had 4 cat 87 yds with his TD. JaMarcus was 12-30 for 208 yds and threw 2 ints the first of which not really his fault. LT in the year hes trying to prove that he still has it only had 13 carries for 55 yds. He rolled his ankle in the game. Phillip Rivers led the team to the come back victory with 252 yds on 24-36 and a TD and int. On the final drive trailing 17-20 Rivers and Sproles led them down for the win. I feel Oak got fucked by the refs on that call and it shouldve been 24-17 Oak on that drive. That way SD would have had to have the TD for OT and a FG would have been out of the question. But insted they couldve kicked a FG to take it to OT and the TD would win it which is what happen. Even with my feelings on the missed TD Oak shouldve played better D on that drive so oh well.

Great Classic TRILL R&B album by the new young KING of R&B!!!! Although I didnt give every song a 10/10 for the first time (his first two albums Gotta Make It & Trey Day where perfect 10/10s... hey I tried to find a flaw just couldnt do it) this is album still has only two small flaws. I Need A Girl maybe should not have came out as a single so early, I got a lil tired of it.... mostly the video. And LOL :-) is a great song no matter what anybody wana say just Im not a big Gucci fan but I do admit he has gotten better as of late. But its still an album fellas you can get and play to get ya lady right or you can bump in the ride.... Trigga Trey.... YEEAA!!!! Go cop the album you wont be disappointed if you love good classic 90s R&B. Plenty of sex songs, a couple for the club, and of course some love tracks as well as love lost.

My bro Greg Paulis former Duke starting PG now after playing four years for Coach K and winning two ACC Championships on the hardwood he now returns home to Syracuse, NY to play his first love football for the Orangemen. His first time on the field in 5years. He is the starting QB for the team this year. They came up short in overtime in his first game against Minnesota. I wish him the best of luck and success this year and to the Orange fans you have a true great leader leading your team.
Oregon RB LeGarrette Blount ended his college career and hurt his possible future in the NFL. Last week after getting killed by Boise St he punched a player in the jaw dropping him to the ground. Ok No problem there take the little 1 or 2 game suspension but because of his actions after that which included trying to fight his own teammates and get into the crowd after fans taunting him like the Bosie St guy he had already knocked out got him suspended for his entire senior season.
HAHAHAHA Oklahoma lose!!! That was the highlight of week1 of the college football season. But as a true fan of the sport I do hate to see Sam Bradford last years Heisman go down with a serious injury esp. a shoulder. I am extra sensitive to those injuries because I know about them first hand having two surgeries on my right shoulder myself. Still I loved to see them get beat by BYU great job and good luck to them over the rest of their season. And my Texas Longhorns will capitalize on this lose on our way to the National Championship!!!
ARE MY HURRICANES BACK?!!! I sure hope so college football is just not the same when DaU is down. The team led by Sophmore QB JaCory Harris have us as fans feeling as good about the team this early as we have in a while after an impressive win over our biggest rival Flordia St. The game was an Instant Classic the best game of the young college football season. Go Canes keep it up this Thursday night against Georgia Tech.
USC came back on their final drive to beat Ohio St. Man these guys really suck! Terrelle Pryor you aint got it kid! Ive tried to have faith in you as a young black QB but the truth is the truth and jus like fellow Sophmore of my hometown Baylor Bears Robert Griffen you are an athlete NOT a QB!!! BU fans get mad all you want Ive been told you Griffen and Pryor have to prove to me they can throw and so far they havent. And for you SC fans Barkley aint did shit yet either I dont rock with SC suck sorry wana be Miami-West ass. They all cocky and spoiled brats who get every thing handed to them from Bush and Leinert to Barkley and McKnight. Barkley is getting all of this hype and credit for the final drive and win but he didnt do a damn thing significant as a passer yeah he got a couple of sneeks in but hell OSU D sucked on that drive. After holding McKnight the whole game they allowed him to single handed win the game by driving down the field. OSU fans this is your karma for what you did to Maurice Clarett.
Michigan defeated Notre Dame sorry overrated ass.... boy I swear Charlie Weis sucks!!! How is he still a head coach. BUt dont worry if they dont win this year he wont be for long. LOL they already have people putting up billboards in South Bend calling him a 5yr Intern... Thats hilarious!!! But forget all that Michigan has found a QB! Freshman Tate Forcier is the TRUTH!!! You heard it from me first. Im on this kids bandwagon. I love freshman esp. QBs who show they can get it done and LEAD and WILL their team to victory (unlike Barkley). Watch out for this guy this year and beyond college football fans.... And he will lead Michigan to victory over OSU and out perform Pryor in the process.
UGA and SC suprised everyone and actually played an entertaining game with scoring. While I like everyone else who knows this rivalry thought it was gonna be a boring 9-6 game UGA won 41-37 on their final drive in a game that had nonstop action from the beginning. Big play after big play turnovers for TDs Kick returns big pass plays reverses and big runs kept fans interested and on the edge of their seats in another great game this weekend.
Damn my boy Peacock (Perrish Cox for those of you who dont know) #16 of the Oklahoma St Cowboys the #1 Kick Returner in the nation and top CB on the team they lost to Houston this weekend in a crazy game. OkSt was ranked #5 in the country but that is sure to take a hit after the lost to the unranked Houston team... Not going to well early on this season for Oklahoma football against unranked opponents.
Michigan St lose to Central Michigan..... WWWOOOOWWWW!!!!! They have some serious problems. The Big10 just sucks overall man basketball and football. I dont care get mad if want but show me different and Ill admit it. I do think Michigan St is good enough to beat Notre Dame this week but I will not be suprised if the Fighting Irish bounce back at least their lose was to a good team trying to get back on top in college football not Central Michigan.
Wisconsin and Fresno St got Saturday started off right with another one of their great classic nailbitters. In this rivalry the games are known to go down to the final minute and be high scoring by both. Both teams put up alot of yards in the air and on the ground. It went to two overtimes before the Badgers took it capitalizing on a Fresno turnover.
Also UCLA is 2-0 and Tennessee under new Head Coach Lane Kiffin falls to 1-1. The game while close and a good one came nowhere close to the classsic they played last year. Now comes the moment of truth for Kiffin and his Volunteers. This week they go to The Swamp to play defending champs the Flordia Gators. Its put up or shut up for them after the shit kiffin has talked since becoming the coach at Tennessee. Saying they will beat Flordia and accusing their coach Urban Myer of cheating in recuiting the game will either be very good because Tennessee is actually better this year (lol I doubt it) or it will be a smashing by the Gators!!!!
Signing out DaKING, Jody-Jo.....YEZZIR!!! BALEE-DAT
