On a sad note my Philadelphia Eagles and the whole NFL family lost a legend, Coach Jim Johnson who had been our Defensive Coordinator for the past 10 years has passed. He lost his battle with cancer and a tumor on his spine. He was the first person Head Coach Andy Reid hired when he got the job in 2000. Yes sir we had a great summer that year with the hiring of those two and drafting QB Donovan McNabb. Coach had legendary status around the league with his infamous blitzes. Whenever you had the Eagles on your schedule you knew you had to deal with him blitzing you. He was just as responsible for our great run from 2001-2004 when we went to 4 straight NFC Confrence Championships and after dealing with a little bad luck once we got there the first three times we finally broke through and won in 2004 and went to our first Super Bowl before loosing there. Over his career we won 98 of our 160 games 61.3% which is an avg of 10 wins a season. We only had two seasons not making the playoffs outside of his first year, there we won 10 of 17.

Coach will definately be missed and we will play this season in honor of him so the rest of the NFC East, NFC and NFL better be on alert because the Eagles are coming baby... BALEE-DAT YEZZIR!!! In the mighty words of DeAngelo Hall on Madden Nation a few years ago.... "Im running with PHIILLLAY" and he never even played with us in his career so far but he know... uh huh he know!

Its official... I think... No it is... Or is it? Who the hell knows? All I know is the man said hes not going to play anymore so can we please... No PLLEEEASE stop talking about him. Yes Brett Favre told Brad Childress the coach of the Minnesota Vikings that he will remain retired and not come back this time. Of course noone really believes this and Favre and his agent did leave the door open for a possible return if the right situation with the right team accured. To me that basically means if once the Vikings are 8 or 10 games in the season and Tarvaris or any other QB on their roster has taken them to record around 6-2 or 7-3 and Brett calls them up and says, "You know even though Im 40 years old I think Im feeling pretty damn good lets give this thing a try!" Basically he would return to a team if they where a contender and needed his services, but his dream destination is Minnesota make no doubt about it. The run the offense that he ran most of his entire career in Green Bay, they have maybe the best running back in the league and a solid defense. His job would just be "Manage the Game and Dont Loose it!" However Im not sure if the gunslinger could play Trent Dilfer for the 2000 Baltimore Ravens.
But anyway like I opened up with lets just let the guy chill in Mississippi and enjoy his family and the good old retired country life. Another factor in Favre calling it quits couldve been the untimely death of his former competitor and long-time friend and fellow Mississippian Steve McNair. The two had just spent time together not long before Steves Death. It couldve showed Brett the nothing is promised and spending time with his family is important.

Ive tried not to speak on this because this nigga gotta be stupid, but Id be lying if I said I didnt want him with my boys in Philly. Anyway he testified today about his case of weapon charges. Last November he shot himself in the thigh in a New York club. If convicted he could face up to 3 1/2 years in prison. He pleaded not guilty and got released on $100,000 bail. Plax said, "I was truthful, I was honest, and Im truely remorseful for what Ive done and for what happen."
Just two Super Bowls ago in 2008 he caught the game winning catch from SB MVP Eli Manning to give the New England Patriots their only lost of the entire season. He had just signed a new 5 year 35mil contract before all of this came out. He was recently officially released by the Giants after Commisioner Goodell suspended him indefinately. He did win his case against the Giants who were seeking their money back.
Of course I hope everything works out for the best for Plax because he is young successful black man but gotdamn my dude you are stupid nigga for that one homie (and thats exactly what white folks saying about him)!

Its official baby the homie Vick has been cleared by Commissioner Goodell for reinstatement. Mike can now be signed by any team and participate in training camp. He wont be able to play but the last two games of preseason and could still have to sit out the first 6 weeks of the season though. To me and to other players around the league including T.O. who publicly spoke out on it that does not seem 100% right but Im just happy that he is getting the oppurntunity. i mean the man served his time, 18 months locked up and on house arrest for two additional. He has lost hundreds of millions of dollars throughout this thing but once again Im just happy and satisfied that he can be in the NFL this year insted of some crap like the UFL, and Im sure Vick is cool with that too.
Former Indianapolis Colt coach Tony Dungy has served and will continue to serve as Mikes spiritual advisor and counselor. With him saying he will continue to work with Mike couldve had a major impact on Goodells decision knowing that he will be in good hands with Dungy, but of course he made it clear that it all comes back to Mike and his decisions from this point on. I know Mike will be straight and smart from this point on like Ive said he has learned his lesson and knows that he is blessed to be given this talent and oppurntunity.

So the Dallas Mavericks mustve heard me when I took away the award I had previously given them for having the best offseason when they kept the legend Jason Kidd, got rid of Jerry Stackhouses contract and added the great Shawn Marion. The reason I took it away of course was because they where not able to keep RFA Marcin Gortat who they signed to an offer sheet, Orlando matched it against Gortats wishes. But they have now signed Drew Gooden who will help them in the bulk area. Im big on Gooden, Ive said recently that I would to have him in OKC (my young team that I love) or with my beloved Lakers IF we could not resign LO (Ill get to that later). Gooden is a true PF at the perfect size for one in my opinion at 6'10" 250 but in todays NBA that is a solid size for a Center as well seeing that the position is pretty much nonexistent which has forced PFs to play it and SFs to play PF. I would start him along side Dirk and over Dampier.
The team Gooden ended the season with last year the San Antonio Spurs add another veteran big man for defensive purposes, Theo Ratliff.
Now for the big news, my Lakers are being pushed to the limit by LO and his agent. It has been reported that unless we increase our offer to him he will accept the 5yr 35mil offer from the Miami Heat who he played one year with in 2003-04 Dwayne Wades rookie season. I really dont get it or understand why he would take less money (7mil a yr) to go anywhere else esp since anywhere else is a worse team than us. We can give him more money and more rings over the rest of his career. We offered him two deals both worth more money but not as many years, 3yrs 30mil (the 10mil a yr he wanted) and 4yrs 36mil (9mil a yr). LO will turn 30 on Nov. 6th (the day after my moms birthday and day before my baby sisters). He finally got the ring he had been wanting for so long over his 10yr career, but I just hope hes hungry for more and not let the fact the he doesnt start for us affect his ego. The only benifit he would get in going else where is he would start and have a chance at making his first AllStar Game which he has always deserved because his talent is on the level of the superstars of the league. But I mean come on LO dont let pride the one thing that can break a man everytime come in between you making the best decision for yourself and your family (or at least thats my opinion). So often you hear athletes say "its not personal its just business" and "I have to make the best choice for my family" and every time theyre talking bout why they chose to leave a team for more money but in this case LO cant make more money anywhere else.
I love you LO, LA loves you, Kobe loves you we just brought in a guy who is like a brother to you in Ron who youve played with your entire life and he loves you. The whole team and organization loves you, you are a fan favorite, the crowd is electric when your on your game. We all know Kobe is Kobe but you are the heart of our team like Scottie, Horace, or Ron Harper to Jordans Bulls. STAY IN LA!!!!

The USA mens mini camp has begun in Las Vegas. The original roster of 25 that was set to attend was as follows: LaMarcus Aldridge, Trevor Ariza, DJ Augustin, Jerryd Bayless, Ronnie Brewer, Glen Davis, Kevin Durant, Eric Gordon, Rudy Gay, Danny Granger, Jeff Green, Blake Griffin, Devin Harris, Andre Iguodala, Kyle Korver, David Lee, Brook Lopez, Kevin Love, OJ Mayo, Paul Millsap, Greg Oden, Derrick Rose, Brandon Roy, Josh Smith, Russell Westbrook and Thaddeus Young. Andrew Bynum decided to focus the summer on improving his injury insted of attended. Portland teammates Roy and Aldridge as well as former Laker and new Rocket Ariza and FA Davis also did not attend. First overall pick and only rookie invited Griffin strained his right shoulder and that will keep him from atteneding. Anthony Randolph has replaced him.
Im not sure if any of the current Gold medalist will look to return either next year for the World Championships in South Africa or in 2012 for the next Olympics in London. Such as Kobe, Carmelo, D-Wade, CP3, Dwight, LeBron, D-Will or CB4. If so a smaller select few of these guys will make it but I look at the 22 who are there plus the other 5 who arent and I see 12 guys that can make up our World Champion and next Olympic Gold medalist team. Im excited to see how everything turns out with the heavy competition between these young stars. The most important thing is that my coach Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski is returning to coach.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have landed super athletic, high flying, defensive specialist SF Jamario Moon from the Miami Heat. The Heat declined to match the offersheet they signed him to last week. This gives them the option to keep that money to continue to go after my Duke brother Carlos Boozer who Utah is looking to trade and I hate to say it but my Laker LO. Moon will help their defense and will be their best perimeter defender although I dont see him starting because hes a SF the same position as LeBron. They brought in Candace Parkers big brother Anthony to possibly start at SG making their bench deeper with Delonte' West coming off it. The only thing I can think off is them moving LeBron closer to the goal as the PF but I doubt they will start with that lineup although they will go to it often throughout the game.

Portland finally made a significant and succsessful move this offseason. They signed PG Andre Miller to a 3 yr deal worth 21mil. Philly offered him a 1 yr deal for 6mil, but Miller did not like that very much at all. He joins a young Portland team that was one of the youngest in the league last year. Miller is 33 entering his 11th year and he has only missed 5 games in that entire time. Andre will fit in great with the young Trailblazers he will serve as the true starting PG they have needed this whole time while they have become a contending team in the West.
Miller spent his first 3 yrs in the league with Cleveland then returned to his hometown of LA to play with the Clippers for a year (in my opinion he messedd them up as they where finally beginning to become good). Then he was off to Denver where for 3 1/2seasons he was very productive. He came in the same year they drafted Carmelo Anthony and was great for the uptempo run&gun team. There he became known as the best alley-hoop passer in the league, & I feel he got his career back on track or at least earned my respect. After 23games into the 07 season he was traded to Philly for Allen Iverson where he excelled even more possibly becoming the most underrated & underappreciated PG in the league crossing over into dare I say top10 PG in the league status.
For his career he avgs 14.6pts 7.4ast 1.4stl & 4.2reb in 34.9mpg shooting 46% from the field & 80.2% from the line. Hes only a 21% 3pt shooter but coming off a career high 28.3% shooting season.

The Los Angeles Clippers and the Minnesota Timberwolves have completed a trade that will send G/F Quentin Richardson to LA for PG Sabastian Telfair and PFs Craig Smith and Mark Madsen. This is Q-Dawgs 3rd time being traded since Draft night June 25th. That was only 25 days ago. It might be the best move for him though, getting away from New York but then to Memphis not any better there so then reunited in LA with the Clipps where he started his career. That couldve looked pretty good seeing that they should be on the rise but now going to Minnesota where I think they have more young talent, they will still suck but have the potential to improve faster. For my boy Bassey this will be his 4th team as he enters his 6th year in the league. He was drafted by Portland in '04 where he spent two seasons then traded to Boston where he played the '07 season. He was apart of the Kevin Garnett trade that sent him to Minnesota where he played the last two seasons.
He has yet to live up to his ability with career avgs of 8.2pts 4.0ast .8stl 1.7to and shooting 38.9% from the field 31.6% from 3 and 78.2% from the line in 24.6mpg which he started a little over half of the games he appeared in. He has had a steady improvement throughout most of his career and I feel being in LA backing up Baron Davis for a couple of years will do him good and make him a much better all around player. He just turned 24 I think by his 8th 9th year he could be ready to show he deserves to be considered as one of the top 10 PGs in the league.
I would tell him just take a look at Chauncey Billups career, he bounced around with 4teams his first 5 years thats actually worst than Bassey. So stay encouraged and keep working hard stay humble and it will all work out for you to once you find the team that you best fit with.
Craig Smith has played 3 years in the league all with Min. He is a strong but short PF. Very powerful used to be just a rebounder but has expanded his game to now he can score to averaging 10.1pts this past year in only 19.7mpg.
And for Madsen its back to LA whee he won 2 championships with my Lakers in his first two years in the league '01 and '02. Known for his infamous dance at our parade, showing why we say white boys have no rhythm. He spent one more year with us than we traded him off to Min where he has been for the last 6 seasons.

Call me a wishful thinker or just a loyal believer but I think there is still a great possibilty that the boy Mike Vick can return to this form you see above as a Pro Bowler. Why? How? You ask? Ill tell you, like I said even if he is not a QB anymore there are numerous things he can do on the field. Put him in the backfield as a RB, if you believe Reggie Bush can play the position than damnit I know Vick can. Think Marshell Faulk, Brian Westbrook. Move him out as a slot WR, think DeSean Jackson, Antwaan Randle El, or maybe Santana Moss. Without a doubt he could be a punt and kickoff returner, something like Devin Hester or Joshua Cribbs. Hell who knows he might even want to hit some people and could be given a shot at a DB postion.
All the guys I just named where a Kordell "Slash" Stewart type of player who can do multiple things on the field. I can make the case that playing QB limited Vick to his full potential of a game changer. Every year there are guys in the Pro Bowl who are not All Pro caliber players but they are just good enough at what they do or just do it better than most others (return men). Im just saying GMs your going feel and look real stupid IF Mike comes back and can still be a guy to break open a game.

The homie Mike Vick is officially a free man today! Yes people my dude has paid his debt, he has served his time for the "wrong" things he did. Stop crucifying the man! He is intitled to be treated fair and I feel the only fair thing is to allow him back into the NFL, Mr. Goodell. Mike just turned 29 on June 26th (NOT 30 or 31 like many tried to say) I believe he can still perform at a solid level and contribute to any team willing to give him the chance to prove himself and sign him. Will he be the same player he was 2yrs ago when he last played? No, but who would be after being out of competition for two years at whatever age I dont care how old or young. Michael Jordan wasnt the same in Washington as he was in Chicago, but some would say he came back possibly better after his first retirement from Chicago. I think he was a way smarter player and better teammate when he returned. Now Im not comparing Mike to Mike... lol but the comparison has been made from the impact Vick had on his sport and in every game as a game changer and a guy you couldnt prepare for just like Jordan.
Vick has grown I believe he has improved as a man and his appreciation for the gifts The Lord has blessed him with are stronger and because of that I see him working harder than he ever had to work before to restore his name and the ability to do what he loves more than anything other than his family. When its taken from you like that you realize alot and Vick is ready. For those of you who feel he wont be anything like he once was and hes lost his athletic ability so he'll suck and aint worth it because he could never throw and be a pocket passer, whose to say he hasnt become just that! Mike wanted to prove he could be a drop back QB, I didnt like it just like I didnt like it when D-Nabb tried it I feel our black athletic QBs should continue to do what got them to the league dont try to change up to please White America! But in this case why not? They say you cant so go show em you can boy. Even if he aint a QB anymore he can still make an impact on many teams. Give the man a shot!

It looks like the Utah Jazz will match the offer sheet given out by the Portland TrailBlazers to RFA Paul Millsap last week. The contract is 4yrs worth 32mil. The Blazers tried to make it very first year heavy by giving him a big signing bonus where he will earn a whole lot over the first year of the deal so Utah wouldnt match it but their efforts failed. This will put the Jazz over the luxury tax by about 11mil with adding on all their other players who will return as well as first round pick Eric Maynor if they dont clear up any money by the end of the season. They plan on trading starting PF Carlos Boozer this will make Paul the starter. They told Booz he wasnt in their longterm plans so apparently Millsap is.
You better be ready to step ya game up young boy because now you got that money the people expecting alot from you. Not saying homie aint already a star in the making, last year in his 3rd year he got the oppurntunity to start 38 of the 76 games he played in (he only stared 3 his previous two seasons where he didnt miss a game). He had career highs all around the board, 13.5pts 8.6reb 1.8ast 1.0stl & 1.0blk. He played 30.1mpg & shot 53.4% from the field and 69.9% from the line.
This is going to piss the Blazers off because once again their back at square one having not mad any improvements to go around AllStar SG Brandon Roy. Carlos' most likely destination is Chicago as I reported in an earlier blog it will be a 3team trade where they will get Tyrus Thomas in return and Chi will also send Kirk Hinrich to Portland for players to be announced later. This will help out Por a little because it will give them a legitimate starting PG and they can play Steve Blake off the bench where he belongs.

Former Buffalo Bill, Denver Bronco, & Tennessee Titan RB Travis Henry was sentenced to 3yrs in a Flordia prison for cocaine trafficking. He could have gotten up to 10yrs so I guess hes a little lucky in that regard. This is very sad because this dude was a beast on that field. I felt like he was going to be able to be one of the best in the league by now. He played for 7yrs 2001-04 with Buffalo where he played in 54 games running for 3,849yds avg 4.0ypc and scoring 27 touchdowns with 23 fumbles and a long run of 64yds. In that time he had two 1,000yd seasons ('02 & '03). He spent '05 & '06 in Tennessee playing in 24 games running for 1,546yds avg 4.3ypc and scoring 7 touchdowns all coming in his best yr with them '03 where he also had 1,211 of his yds in 14 of his 24 games with them. He also fumbled 5 times & had his career long run 70yds. In one year with Denver '04 he played in 12 games ran for 691yds scoring 4 touchdowns avg 4.1ypc and 3 fumbles. His best year overall of his career was his second in the league. The only year he played in all 16 games he had a high in yds (1,438) and had a high in touchdowns (13), He also had his most fumbles (11).
He is from Frostproof, FL and attended college at The University of Tennessee. He has 9 children by 9 different women and says this is the reason he is broke now! Thats funny to me cause come on homie you wasnt thinking bout all of that when you was in it so you put yourself in that problem because I guarantee he wasnt really that tight with most of these BabyMamas (no disrespect to the women.... or at least those who dont deserve it). Damn dawg I hate that we as football fans couldnt get to see you last year and for the next 3yrs or so. You where really on the verge of greatness I believe, but I guess we will never know.

Ive been wondering what has been taking LO so long to go ahead and get this foolishness over and resign with us so we get ready for this repeat to start our dynasty. Well I knew he wanted 10mil a yr but he has to know that that just isnt going to happen but if he could get it the only team who can give it to him is us. Well we finally decided to offer it to him over 3yrs (30mil) but we didnt hear from him then we offered 4yrs 36mil still no reply. It is said he wants 5yrs 50mil. For the time being we have taken the offers off the table but prayfully we will meet in the middle and get a deal done. LO dont need to be anywhere but here like he said he loves LA hes been here since he was 19yrs old. He fits perfectly with us and hes vital to us and our future plans. Come on LO come back boy we need and love you with the Lakers.

Allen Iverson is a free agent for the first time in his 13yr career. After spending a lil over 10yrs in Philly before being traded to Denver where he stayed about a season and a half, he was again traded this time to Detroit after only 3 games into this season. A season where he had career lows in scoring (17.5) minutes played (36.5) which this was the first yr he ever played less than 40mpg other than his 2nd yr in the league '98. A low in stl (1.5) & a low in ast (4.9) since '01. About 2 1/2 weeks ago one of Iversons representatives said that AI would like to play for the Mamphis Grizzles, bout a week after that the Grizzles expressed equal interest in him. Then a few days later their owner said he believes that Allens destination will ultimately be in Miami. Earlier this week Allen came out and said he would like to play in Los Angeles for the Clippers. The Clippers also have shown strong interest him and would love to bring him in. It is now said that he could be the closest to signing with the Heat.
To me I dont understand how AI fits with Mem or LAC. Memphis because their overall roster sucks but they are commented to their top players being Rudy Gay who will get alot of shots 2nd yr guard OJ Mayo who will get alot of shots and newly acquired big man Zach Randolph who to me deserves the most looks because he is a walking double-double I call him Mr.20-10 because almost every night you can put him down for 20pts & 10reb. They are also in love with 3rd yr PG Mike Conley Jr so much they used their 2nd overall draft pick to take 7'3" Hasheem Thabeet insted of one of the many PGs they couldve taken including Stephan Curry & Ricky Rubio. So AI coming of the bench in Mem... hahaha yea right! Los Angeles because they still have PG Baron Davis who although his overall numbers where down this year he is still one of the top10 PGs in the game. It could also stunt the growth of 2nd yr SG Eric Gordan who has proven to be able to score.
When it comes down to it AI going to either of those 2teams is great for him because he gets paid more than he probally will anywhere else and he will get to play his style how he wants (and probally needs) but not that good for the other young players on the team because hes not a good fit. The only reason it would be done is so the team could sell tickets. Mem is dead last in that category & of course LAC could always use some help with that.
Miami would be the best place for him. Yes they have Mario Chalmers but AI would be someone who could help Dwayne Wade alot and make him happy (just not enough to resign, which is what Mia wants).

The Orlando Magic have matched the offer sheet the Dallas Mavericks sent Morcin Gortat which means he will remian in Orlando and not be going to Dallas. Sorry Mav fans... haha not really hey Ive admited yall have had a very productive off season I mean come on you got rid of Stackhouses contract you kept J.Kidd and brought in Matrix who I feel can still be an AllStar in this league. I mean lets review people he was an AllStar in 2003, 05, 06 & 07. Meaning he just was there 2yrs ago, whats happen since then? Well he wanted out of Phoenix because they didnt appreciate him. They sent him to Miami for Shaq somewhere they knew he didnt want to be then about a year later after suffering through that they sent him to Toronto for Jermaine O'Neal once again a bad team that he didnt want to play for. Lets face it when these multi-millionaires are not motivated they dont perform to the best of their abilities. He will feel motivated with Dallas either in a role off the bench where he could very well become 6th Man of the Year, like another former Maverick who was an AllStar talent, Antwan Jamison. In my opinion Shawn is one of if not the most under appreciated players in the league. 6'7" & plays much bigger a double-double waiting to happen wit hcareer avg. of 17.8pts 9.9reb & 1.8stl and thats with his numbers down the last two years because of the reasons I mentioned prior.
Also Denver acquires a shooting guard that they needed with the loss of former Duke Blue Devil and defensive specialist Dahntay Jones. They got Arron Afflalo from Detroit.

My 2nd favorite player in the behind of course you all should know by now Kobe "The BlackMamba" Bryant is Tracy "T-Mac" McGrady. I believe we sometime we as basketball fans forget about T-Mac (I hate to admit but I gotta keep it TRILL that includes me). Anyway T-Mac will for sure be talked about when he returns this coming season. Why? Because he has changed his number, the number he has worn his entire 12yr career, #1. He will make the switch to #3. This is the number he wore in high school, but that is not why he is making the change. It is to promote his works in Darfur, Sudan. He has a documentary coming out this fall from his visit there the summer of 2007. He has donated $75,000 to a humanitarian project there. The number swap will cause former Los Angeles Laker & World Champion Trevor Ariza to go back to his original #1. He wore the number in his one year of college at UCLA & his time with the Orlando Magic after T-Mac was gone. He wore #3 with the Lakers & #21 with the New York Knicks early in his career, the team that drafted him.
I believe in Tracy! I always have & always will. He will bounce back from all his injuries & regain his position as one of the best in the league. Hold ya head T-Mac. You still got a true fan in me homie.

I stumbled upon this video on nfl.com earlier today. My intentions were not to go looking for this but something way less important but this is what God led me to see. He knows I have been waiting 8days to hear the great Ray Lewis speak about the horrific death of his longtime friend & rival and short time teammate. This touched me deeply instantly. Ok first off let apologize to my loyal followers for not giving you any updates in the last week. Its been a crazy week for me but I am back to catch you up on everything thats been goin down in the NBA with free angency as well as other sports & music.
Now that I have all that out the way lets take a quick look at what has happen in the league this week. First off Dallas Maverick I HOPE you all were happy to see the great Jason Kidd resign. Hes not through he still has a couple of good years left. Now me personally I want to see him win a ring because he deserves it but it will not happen in Dallas (even though they are making the moves to seriously contend, but will get into that alil later) & I dont know why he was even considering New York cause we all know it aint happening there lol. Antonio McDyess signs with the San Antonio (HAHA Antonio with San Antonio haha Im stupid my bad) pretty good pick up for them in there mission of trying to keep pace with us... but their still #2. McDyess was the insurance for the guy they lost out on Rasheed Wallace who signed with the Boston Celtics. I HATE to admit it as a DIE HARD Laker fan but this puts them on top of... The EAST!! I know you dont think this will elevate them over us... NOPE!!! But we should get our rematch so we can get revenge.
Mike Bibby stays in Atlanta. Good fit for him and the team. In a major 4team trade involving Dallas, Toronto, Orlando & Memphis the Grizzles sent Greg Buckner to Dallas for Jerry Stackhouse (the next day they cut Stackhouse). The Magic sent Hedu Turkoglu to Toronto for cash. The Mavs sent Antoine Wright & Devean George (former Laker lol) to Toronto for Kris Humphries. & the Raptors sent former AllStar Shawn Marion to Dallas. This is what puts the Mavs into the top5 out West behind my team, Spurs, and Nuggets. Due to a poor off season thus far Portland has fallen out of that list, as well as Houston with the news on Yao Ming & T-Mac not to disregard loosing Ron Ron (to us) but gettin Trev from us in return will help. However Portland has offered a contract to restricted FA Paul Millsap of the Utah Jazz. Utah has til Friday night to match it. They are trying to trade Carlos Boozer to be able to do so. Rumored trade Boozer from Jazz to Bulls, Tyrus Thomas from Bulls to Jazz & Blazers would get Kirk Hinrich from Bulls (other players will be added if it goes down). Orlando loss backup Center Morcin Gortat to Dallas to help replace him they sign Brandon Bass from those same Mavs. Dallas also signed Quinton Ross from Mem., Cleveland signed Anthony Parker from Tor., Indiana signed Dahntay Jones from Den. Phoenix signed Channing Frye from Por. & resigned Grant Hill & recently Jarrett Jack signed with Tor. but Indiana can match it but they probally wont.
Other players who resigned with their teams Chris Anderson stays in Denver, Michael Finley stays with Spurs, Zaza Pachulia stays with Hawks & Anderson Varejao stays with Cavs.
Allen Iverson and Memphis Grizzles in serious talks about him signing a one-year deal with them.

Words cant express how I felt when I first heard the news of the death of Steve "Air" McNair. He was truely one of my favorite QBs of all-time (&I mean that). He was a pioneer for black QBs & I loved him for that. He was a true warrior, as tough as they come & I loved & admired him for that. I dont care why he died because its not for me to ask. I dont care how he died or what situation he put himself in to cause it because its not any of my business. All I know is he did not deserve what happen to him & I will never forget the competitor he was. Never forget how proud I was that I got a chance to see him play. It was truely an honor. Steve I love you I miss you & I will never forget you esp. as long as Vince is in the league & playing for the Titans your legacy will live on. To his family I will keep you all in my prayers every night. Im sorry to his mother & wife & sons who have to grow up without him but just know your father was an amazing man not jus football player.

It takes a big man to admit when he was wrong or admit to his faults. With that said I send a shout out to my boy Game cuz him apologizing to 50 is probally the last thing you ever thought you would hear him do, but with age comes maturity. Check out the video HATE HIM OR LOVE HIM you gotta respect the man. I call him him the Carmelo of HipHop because he is one of the best but everybody overlooks him & he doesnt get the proper respect & credit he deserves & he is one of the most versitle MCs out their. By the way there is a difference people between a rapper & an MC & a rapper I dont respect because they are all FAKE.

YEZZIR!!! YEZZIR!!! Thank you Lord I knew it would happen eventually. The day is finally here Ron Artest is offically a Los Angeles Laker where he has belonged for the last 3 to 5yrs. Kobe has Ron like Michael had Dennis. The two absolute best 2way players in the league over the last 5 to 10yrs are now teammates. For all of you Laker-Haters, HI HATER! HI HATER! Keep Hating Please I told you I Love it WE Love it it makes us stronger.
There will definatly still be a repeat then a 3peat then may I dare say something that Jordan never did a 4peat hahaha oh yes its very possible. But I admit the rest of the league is trying to catch up but realalisticly the only two who will challenge us are San Antonio with aquiring Richard Jefferson & Boston with goin strong at Rasheed Wallace. Sheed will go to one of these two for Boston sake it better be them then they will come out the East but only then.
Now to disscuss my boy Trevor Ariza damn I hate to see him leave but hey dawg blame your agent I know you didnt want this but hey thats how it goes. I wish Trev nothing but the best in H-Town & I welcome him to the 3rdCoast Texas but I honestly dont believe he will be the same player or be able to improve much in a system other than ours and without benifitng off of Kobe. I hope to be proven wrong and I hope Trev does continue to reach his potential & I still believe Houston still has what I said they had when they traded for Ron last year which is if not the two best defenders in the league two of the top five. Them and us still have the best backcourt definsive tandem them with Shane & Trev us with Kobe & Ron.

Alright you know I had to speak on the rumors Im hearing coming out of LA bout myLAkers & my boy Trevor Ariza. They say his agent has declined our offer of the mid-level exception of 5.6mil. They say he is asking for between 7&8mil. A number of teams are interested in adding Trev to their roster including the under-achieveing to most but over-achieveing to me Cleveland Cavs, Houston Rockets (who are supposedly meeting with him), Portland Trail-Blazers &Toronto Raptors. None of which are good fits for Trev or @least not as good as him staying in LA. Trev was born and raised here. He attended UCLA as well. The only reason he ever left was because he was drafted by New York then a few years later traded to Orlando. Other than that he has always been in beautiful Southern-California.

In my opinion it is all a big bluff by the agent (I aint mad @him, he's doing his job) to get Trev closer to the amount of money he deserves & wants. So I say Mr. Buss & Kupchik meet in the middle, somewhere around 6.2 & 6.7mil should make everybody happy. We have a dynasty to build & Trevor is an important part of that.

P.S. lets not forget about Lamar Odom & Shannon Brown also. Everyone knows L.O.'s worth but dont sleep on my boy S.B. we need him to battle with Jordan for that main backup PG roll as long Fish can still start and once he is retired one of them will start and the other as a probally the best backup PG in the league. Just keep that in mind.

FOREVER THE KING
Today the Detroit Pistons make the first big splash of the free agent period by inking two of, in many minds the top10 players avalible. 6'3" ShootingGuard Ben Gordon from the Chicago Bulls & 6'11" Foward Charlie Villanueva from the Milwaukee Bucks. Gordon signed a 5yr 55mil contract & Villanueva a 5yr 35mil.
Last season for the Bulls Gordon avg 20.7pts 3.4ast 3.5reb shot 45.5%fg 41.0%deep & 86.4%ft. He played in all 82games starting in 76 &played 36.6mpg. Last season for the Bucks Villanueva avg 16.2pts & 6.7reb. He shot 44.7%fg 34.5%deep & 83.8%ft in 78games played, he started 47. The two played together for a year in college at UCONN. Gordon is a 5yr vet at the age of 26. Villanueva is a 4yr vet and soon to be 25yrs old.
In my opinoin both together are great additions for the rebuilding Pistons. I first heard they where only pursuing Ben which made no since to me with them for sure loosing Wallace & McDyess to free agency. But adding Charlie now gives them a replacement to go along with Maxell and their frontcourt. They will probally also look more to trade Rip Hamilton (another former UCONN Huskie) now. Allen Iverson will also be out maybe reuniting with former coach Larry Brown in Charlotte. You never know just continue checking in with ya boy because you know I will have the breaking news for you.
